Rear door lock actuator electric motor installation details


1. The details of the installation of the electric motor of the rear door lock actuator are shown in the illustration, to which all references in the text refer.

2. Remove the door lock assembly (see Chapter Body).

3. Remove the electric motor (M14/7) of the lock actuator from the door handle assembly (1).

4. With the door open, check the proper functioning of the electric motor using the command from the remote control of the single lock.

5. Replace the activator if necessary.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

1. The installation details of the electric motor for the fuel filler flap lock actuator are shown in the illustration, to which all references in the text refer.



2. Remove the C-pillar trim panels (see Chapter Body).

3. Remove the filler neck cover (1).

4. Remove the outer (2) and inner (3) screws.

5. Press the nipple unit (4) to the right, unscrew the fastening screws (5), disconnect the contact connector (6) of the electrical wiring and remove the drive motor assembly (M14/10).

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Finally, check the proper functioning of the lock drive with the lid open.
