Fuel injector mounting on a 6-cylinder engine
1 – a nut of fastening of a fuel line;

Mounting of fuel injectors on 4-cylinder engines
1 – a nut of fastening of a fuel line;
2 – a nut of fastening of a holding plate
1. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system.
2. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
3. Remove the air filter.
4. At the fuel distributor, loosen the fuel line connections from the fuel injectors. While holding the fuel injector from turning with a wrench, unscrew the piping connections on the fuel injectors and move the piping to the side. On 4-cylinder engines, unscrew the central nuts and remove the fuel injector mounting plates. On 6-cylinder engines, unscrew the screw and remove the fuel injector retaining bracket (see fig. 5. Remove the fuel injectors from the cylinder head and remove the O-rings from them.
Installation
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. New O-rings must be used when installing fuel injectors.
