Six-cylinder engines
Location of idle speed control mounting bolts
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
2. The idle speed controller is installed above the intake manifold in front of the fuel distributor.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator.
4. Label and disconnect the air hoses from the actuator.
5. Unscrew the bolts and remove the actuator (see picture).
Four-cylinder engines
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
2. An additional air device is installed in the rear part of the intake manifold near the engine compartment bulkhead.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator.
4. Loosen the clamp and remove the air hose from the top of the auxiliary air unit.
5. Unscrew the bolts and remove the additional air device.
