Service notification and control device (Mercedes-Benz A-Class W168)

After performing scheduled maintenance work, the previous service message must be cleared from the instrument cluster display and the next service date must be entered.

Reset message

1. Turn on the ignition or turn the key in the lock to position "2" and immediately, no later than one second, press the daily mileage reset button twice to activate the display.

2. Turn the ignition key to position "0".

3. Press and hold the trip mileage reset button.

4. Turn the ignition key to position "2" while holding the trip mileage reset button pressed.

5. Keep the trip reset button pressed for another 10 seconds until you hear an acoustic signal and the display shows the mileage until the next service. Typically, this is 15,000 kilometers.

6. Turn off the ignition.
