Guide pin for mating the combination switch connector (shown by arrow)
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the lower instrument panel shield and disconnect the multi-pin connector.
3. Remove the rubber boot from the shift lever.

4. Remove the Phillips-head mounting screws.
5. Disconnect the horn switch wires by loosening the clamp screws.
6. Remove the switch by pulling the wire harness through the panel opening.
7. The switch is installed in the reverse order of removal.
