Removing
1. Depending on the model, fold the rear seat forward or remove it, refer to the relevant section.
2. Remove the carpet from the floor under the rear seat.
Note. The mat is pulled out with the seat folded forward under the backrest and the rear door sill trims.
3. Detach the adjuster cover.
4. Fully release the parking brake and loosen the cable tension, refer to Section Brake system checks. Parking brake adjustment.
5. Disconnect cables (1) And (2) from the control device.
6. Squeeze the plastic strips (arrows in the illustration) at the end of the cable and disconnect the cables at the points of their passage in the bottom of the body.
7. Disconnect the front cable from the parking brake pedal (1). Squeeze the plastic tabs at the end of the cable and pull the cable out of the holder (2) on the pedals.
8. Attach an auxiliary rope to the end of the front cable.
9. Mark with paint the position of the rear wheels relative to the hubs. This will allow the assembly to install the balanced wheels in their original position. Loosen the wheel bolts before jacking up the vehicle. Raise the rear of the car, put it on stands and remove the rear wheels.
Attention! The operation of lifting and placing the vehicle on stands is dangerous! Therefore, before carrying out the operation, read Section Jacking and towing Introduction to leadership.
10. Remove the rear brake caliper, refer to the appropriate section.
11. Remove the rear brake disc, refer to the appropriate section.
12. Remove parking brake pads, refer to appropriate section
13. Disconnect the rear cable from the drum parking brake release.
14. Turn away bolts and remove a cover of an impellent compartment, address to the Section Removal and installation of a cover of an impellent compartment from the bottom.
15. Pull the cables out of the passages in the bottom, disconnect from the holders and remove.
Installation
1. Attach an auxiliary rope to the end of the front cable. Pull the rope by the end of the rope through the holders and through the passages in the bottom.
2. Pull the rear cable through the holder and through the passage in the bottom.
3. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
4. Reinstall the rear wheels so that the marks made during removal match. Pre-lubricate with a thin layer of bearing grease the centering belt of the wheel disk on the hub. Do not grease wheel bolts. Replace rusty bolts. Wrap bolts. Lower the car onto the wheels and tighten the bolts crosswise to 110Nm.
5. Adjust the parking brake, refer to Section Brake system checks. Parking brake adjustment.
