Removing
1. Terminal 30 wire (B+); 2. Terminal 61 wire (D+); 3. Bolts; 4. Contact protection; 5. Generator
1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery terminal (–).
Attention! Disconnect only when the ignition is off, otherwise the fuel injection system control unit may be damaged. Before disconnecting the wires from the battery terminals, you should also read the recommendations in the relevant sections.
2. Loosen the tension of the V-ribbed belt and only then remove it from the alternator pulley.
3. Raise the front of the car. If equipped, remove the bottom cover of the engine compartment.
4. Remove the contact protection from the generator flange (4).
5. Unscrew the electrical wires on the generator (1) And (2).
6. Take out the bolts on the holder (3) and remove the generator.
Installation
1. Insert the generator, tighten the fixing bolts with a torque of 40 Nm.
2. Screw the wire to terminal 30 with a torque of 15 Nm, and to terminal 61 with a torque of 5 Nm Fit the contact protection.
3. Lay and tighten the V-belt.
4. Install the bottom cover of the engine compartment.
5. Connect the ground wire to the battery terminal (–). Set the time on the clock and also enter the anti-theft code for the radio.
