Removal
Installation details of the intake manifold of engines M120.980 (the arrow shows the locking tab of the distributor cap)
6 - Throttle control lever; 10 - Bracket; 14, 15, 16 - Bolts; 17 - Locking bushings; 17/2 - Return fuel line; 17/3 - Fuel injection line; 18 - Gasket; 18/1 - Seals; 19 - Inlet manifold; 19/1 - Intermediate flange; 20 - Distributor cover; 27 - Guide; 28 - Plastic clamp; 30, 98 - Control cables
1. Remove the air filter.
2. Remove the electronic throttle control actuator together with the throttle body.
3. Remove the sleeve with wires above the intake manifold.
4. Remove the distributor cap (20). Use a screwdriver to unhook the tab.
5. Disconnect all wiring connectors that pass through the intake manifold and remove all electrical components connected to the intake manifold.
6. Disconnect the vacuum lines from the components attached to the intake manifold.
7. Disconnect the cable (30) from the throttle lever (6).
8. Squeeze the plastic clamp (28) and remove the bracket (10) together with the cable (30).
9. Disconnect the control cable (98).
10. Release the pressure in the fuel distribution line using a special valve.
11. Disconnect the pressure (17/3) and return (17/2) fuel lines.
12. Unscrew the bolts (14).
13. Disconnect the vacuum pipes on both sides of the intake manifold.
14. Disconnect the EGR tubes from the intake manifold.
15. Remove the air intake duct.
16. Unscrew the bolts (15).
17. Lift the intake manifold (19) and remove it.
18. Remove the intermediate flange (19/1).
19. Replace the gasket (18). The gasket must be positioned on the locking bushings.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the throttle control. Check and adjust the idle speed.

1. Remove the air filter.
2. Remove the electronic throttle control actuator together with the throttle body.
3. Remove the wire cover above the intake manifold.
4. Remove the distributor cap (20). Use a screwdriver to unhook the tab.
5. Disconnect all wiring connectors that pass above the intake manifold and remove all electrical components connected to the intake manifold.
6. Release the pressure in the fuel distribution line using a special valve.
7. Disconnect the pressure (17/3) and return (17/2) fuel lines.
8. Unscrew the bolts (14).
9. Remove the air intake duct.
10. Unscrew the bolts (15).
11. Unscrew the bolt (19/10) securing the bracket (19/11).
12. Disconnect the power steering pump reservoir and secure it to the side.
13. Lift the intake manifold (19) and remove it.
14. Remove the intermediate flange (19/1).
15. Replace the gasket (18). The gasket must be positioned on the locking bushings.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the throttle control. Check and adjust the idle speed.
