Removal and installation the contact spring
Removal
1. Remove the steering wheel.
2. Remove the lower instrument panel cover.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the airbag horn or contact spring (A45x1).
4. Disconnect the contact spring relay wiring connector (A45x2).

5. Unscrew the mounting bolts (32h) of the contact coil (A45).
6. Carefully remove the spool (A45) from the pipe.
7. Make sure that the retaining ring (70h) is installed correctly.
Examination
1. Check the distance "b" between the retaining ring (70h) and the bracket (85).
2. Check the contact coil (A45) for damage.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
