Attention: Different coil springs with their own rubber mounts may be installed on different models. The type of spring is indicated by a red or blue stripe applied to its last coil, as well as a number stamped on it. When replacing springs, make sure that the new ones always have the same markings as the old ones.
Removing
Remove the rear shock absorber by first loosening its upper mount.
Compress the spring with a puller (the puller should capture 5 turns of the spring).
Remove the rear spring along with the rubber cup.
Clamp the spring in a vise, remove the rubber cup by turning it to the left, and slowly release pressure from the spring.
Installation
Before installing the spring, check the rubber cup for porosity and damage and replace if necessary. Clean the contact surface of the diagonal lever. Check if the drain hole is blocked and clean if necessary.
Place a puller on the spring and compress it slowly.
Replace rubber cup (74) and coil spring (73) so that the end of its lower coil "sat down" into a recess in the diagonal arm (72).
Slowly release pressure from the spring, making sure that it and the rubber cup are properly seated in the body floor and the diagonal arm.
Remove puller.
Reinstall the shock absorber by securing it first to the diagonal arm and then to the shock absorber housing (76).
Inspect Buffer (95) for damage and replace if necessary.
Attention: On models designed for heavy loads or with reinforced springs, an additional 8.5 lm spacer disc is installed between the buffer and the floor of the body. In this case, a longer bolt is used to secure the buffer.
