Shock absorbers can be replaced individually, regardless of their model, but it is important that the new shock absorber is the same model as the old one (the shock absorber model is indicated by a colored stripe).

Caution: Shock absorbers are filled with oil or gas under pressure, so appropriate precautions must be taken.

Removal

Attention: When loosening the shock absorber mount, make sure that the shock absorber tube does not turn, as this may lead to the working piston becoming disconnected.

Remove the rear seat and backrest.

Place the rear on stands so that the shock absorbers can be pulled out through the bottom.

Working underneath the vehicle, remove the bolts from the diagonal arm (72) and remove the shock absorber through the bottom.
