Removal
1. Remove the heater control unit.
2. Disconnect the switch mounting bracket from the console.
3. Move the switch lever to the right, release it from the socket, then remove the switch assembly.
4. Disconnect the control cables from the switch block base and unscrew the mounting nuts.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the switch assembly.
6. Remove the trim panel located under the glove box and the glove box.
7. Under the instrument panel, remove the control cables under the upper and lower flap levers.

Installation
1. Installation is the reverse of removal. Adjust the switch by turning the switch to the 9 o'clock position and turning the adjusting nuts on the control cable connection at the rear of the switch until the lower and upper flaps are completely closed.
