Pull the switch to the 1st detent position:

Rear fog lamp in addition to fog lamps.
The yellow control LED is on.
Note. With the key removed and the door open, a signal sounds if the car's exterior lighting (except for parking lights) not disabled.
Switching headlights
The headlights can be turned on/off manually or automatically, or switched to permanent mode.
Selecting the appropriate function - refer to subsection «Individual installation» Section Multifunction steering wheel, universal display.
Manual mode
The dipped beam, side lights and license plate light are switched on and off via the light switch.
(Light switch - see above).
Auto mode
Light switch in position .
Turn the key in the ignition switch to position 1.
The parking light automatically turns on and off depending on the ambient light.
Turn the key in the ignition switch to position 2 (+ engine on).
Dipped beam, parking light and license plate lighting turn on and off automatically depending on the ambient light.
The dipped beam, parking light and license plate light can still be switched on manually with the light switch.
Important!
In fog, the headlights are not turned on by the automatic headlight switch function.
If necessary, turn on the vehicle lighting manually.
Constant light mode 1
The dipped beam, parking light, and license plate light are on when the engine is running. The high beam and warning light can continue to be turned on and off manually.
Turning the light switch to the , , or positions turns on the light according to the position of the switch.

Timed headlight off function (SLOW DOWN HEADLIGHTS)
In the dark, after the engine is turned off, the parking light, tail light, license plate light and fog light are turned on.
After the doors are closed, the delay time starts counting as part of the delayed headlights off function. The duration of the switch-off delay can be adjusted in several steps between 0 (turned off) and 60 seconds.
Note. Within 10 minutes of closing the doors, this function can be reactivated by opening one of the doors.
If no doors are opened after the engine is switched off, or if the doors are not fully closed after the doors are opened, the headlight dimmer function is automatically deactivated after approximately 60 seconds.

Temporary deactivation of the headlight switch-off function with a time delay:
Before leaving the vehicle, turn the key in the ignition switch to position 0, then to position 2, and then back to position 0.
Lighting for orientation
In the dark, after unlocking the vehicle with the master key, the parking light, tail light, license plate light and fog light come on.
When the driver's door is opened or after 40 seconds at the latest, the lights go out.
The function can be turned on or off in the menu «LIGHTING» (LIGHTING) systems «Individual installation», in the installation menu, «LOCATOR LIGHTING» (LIGHTING FOR ORIENTATION) (Chapter Multifunction steering wheel, universal display).
Headlight beam leveler
1 Headlight range adjustment
0 The front seats are occupied.
1 Front and rear seats occupied.
The driver's seat is occupied, and the trunk is loaded to the permissible load on the rear axle.
2 The front and rear seats are occupied, and the trunk is loaded to the permissible load on the rear axle.
Note. On models with xenon headlights, the headlight range is adjusted automatically.
Headlamp cleaner
1 headlight cleaner
Turn the key in the ignition switch to position 1 or 2.
Click the button (1), the headlights are cleaned with a high-pressure water jet.
Note. Adding detergent to the headlamp cleaner tank is discussed in Chapter Current service.
Combination switch1
1 low beam (light switch position)

Turn indication: lock combination switch. Return to the starting position is performed automatically when the steering wheel is turned.
Lane change turn indication: move the combination switch only up to the point of resistance and hold it in this position.

I Interval mode
Models with rain sensor: When switched on, one stroke of the wiper blades is performed. After that, the intervals are automatically adjusted according to the amount of moisture on the glass.

Models without rain sensor: When the vehicle is stopped, the windscreen wiper is switched down one step. In the interval mode, the interval increases.
Wiper arm lock
If it is impossible to move the wiper arm, eliminate the cause (e.g. snow). To ensure safety, remove the key from the ignition.
Then turn the windshield wiper back on (turn the ignition key to position 1).
Strokes on the windshield
With the windshield wiper on, turn on the washer - even when it rains.

Alarm system
The vehicle's alarm system can be activated manually with a switch on the center console, or it can be activated automatically when one of the airbags deploys.
When the hazard warning system is on, only the left or only the right turn signal light flashes when the combination switch is turned on. When the combination switch is returned to its original position, all direction indicator lights flash again.
