Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Open the tailgate and remove its lining, refer to the relevant section.
3. Unscrew the 4 plastic nuts on the left and right (1) rear spoiler mount.
4. Loosen the 3 screws one by one with a Torx screwdriver (2).
5. Disunite a socket of an additional stoplight.
6. Squeeze the locking bars inward and press out the connector for the additional brake light from the mounting hole in the tailgate.
7. Unscrew one by one to avoid deformation of the rear spoiler, 3 screws (2).
Note. The screws are located in the rear spoiler and turn out of the tailgate.
8. Remove the rear spoiler from the tailgate. When closing the tailgate, make sure that it does not warp in relation to the roof of the vehicle.
Installation
1. Close the tailgate and install the spoiler on the tailgate. At the same time, make sure that the spoiler is in the correct position and that the screws go deep enough into the holes.
2. Carefully open the tailgate, making sure that the spoiler does not warp in relation to the vehicle roof.
3. Screw in a few turns in turn 3 screws.
4. Insert the connector of the additional brake light into the mounting hole and dock the connector.
5. Wrap in turn three bolts of fastening.
6. Screw on 4 plastic nuts on the left and right.
7. Install tailgate trim, refer to appropriate section.
8. Connect the negative cable (-) to the battery when the ignition is off. Install the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
