Removal
1. Loosen the locking pin on the front panel near the stop post and remove the cover on top of the lock.
Note: On vehicles with air conditioning, to improve access, remove the two screws and move the fan, then loosen the four upper clamps and move the radiator back.
2. Disconnect the hood release cable from the lock lever and bracket.
3. Unscrew the two mounting bolts and remove the lock from the front panel (see fig. 11.3).

Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Minor adjustment of the lock can be made by loosening the lower mounting bolt of the front panel pillar and moving the pillar and panel slightly up or down.
