Removal
1. Open the hood and, working from the inside from the front, unscrew the six mounting bolts.
2. Remove the grille trim and grille from the hood.
3. Loosen the pin fasteners securing the grille to the cladding on both sides.
4. Remove the lower screw and the upper nut, which also secures the Mercedes emblem. Remove the emblem, then lift the grille off the trim.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order
