Removal



1. Loosen the retaining pin on the front panel near the stop pillar and remove the lock cover.

Note: On vehicles with air conditioning, to improve access, remove the two screws and move the fan, then loosen the four upper clamps and move the radiator back.


2. Disconnect the hood release cable from the lock lever and bracket.

3. Remove the cover from below the instrument panel on the left side.

4. Loosen the screw and remove the opening handle, then disconnect the cable.

5. Push the rubber cable bushing out of the engine compartment bulkhead.

6. Tie the rope to the cable so that when the cable is pulled through the partition, it pulls the rope along with it.

7. Pull the rope forward. When the end of the rope appears, untie it and remove the rope from the car

Installation



8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
