1. Open the hood and remove the hood lock assembly (see Section Removal and installation the hood lock).

2. Locate the drive cable (3) on the mudguard.

3. Remove the cover on the left under the instrument panel (see Section Removal and installation lower instrument panel covers), - do not disconnect the electrical connector.

4. In the vehicle interior, unscrew the screw (2) and remove the hood latch release lever (1) by pulling it back while simultaneously pressing it down.

5. Pull back and pull the cable (3) together with the lever (1) into the passenger compartment - first lubricate the rubber bushing in the engine compartment bulkhead.



6. Disconnect the cable (3) from the lever (1).

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - the damaged bushing in the bulkhead must be replaced.
