Front wiper drive installation details
1 - Nuts; 2 - Dust cover; 3 - Washer; 4 - Sealing washer; 5 - Crank; 6 - Traction; 7 - Spindles
1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. Remove the instrument panel (see Section Removal and installation the instrument panel).
3. Mark the installation position of the rod (6), then pry it up and separate it from the crank (5).
4. Remove the arms of both windshield wipers (see Section Removal and installation windshield wiper arms).
5. Remove the nuts (1) from the spindles (7).
6. Remove the flat (3) and sealing (4) washers - the sealing washers must be replaced without fail.
7. Release the spindles (7) from the bearings and remove the windscreen wiper drive assembly.

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Finally, make sure that the windshield wipers are functioning properly.
