Removal



1. Remove the wheel. Before raising the vehicle, loosen the wheel nuts.

2. Unscrew nut 11 securing hub 6 and unscrew bolts 10 (see figure 7.12).

1. Lower arm,
2. Brake mechanism protective shield,
3, 10. Bolt,
4. Bearing,
5. Retaining ring,
6. Wheel hub,
7. Brake disc,
8. Inflator with rotor for ABS,
9. Pumping device without rotor,
11. Nut M22,
12. Bolt M8x16.


3. Remove the brake disc 7.

4. Remove the pump element 8 or 9 from the hub (on vehicles with ABS/ABD or ABS/ETS).

5. Remove bearing 4 from lower arm 1. Removed ball bearings cannot be used again and must be replaced with new ones.

6. Check the condition of the parking brake system brake pads.

Installation



7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
