Adjusting the position of the steering wheel

There is a risk of accident!

For safety reasons, do not change the position of the steering wheel while driving.

Also, when leaving the car for a short time, remove the electronic key from the ignition or take the smart card with you.

However, it is also possible to adjust the steering wheel position when the driver's door is open. Therefore, do not leave children unattended in the car.

Turn the electronic key in the ignition switch to position 1 or 2.

With the driver's door open and the electronic key removed, the steering wheel position can be adjusted; after closing the driver's door or inserting the electronic key into the ignition switch, this position is reset and the steering wheel returns to the stored position.

With the driver's door open and the electronic key removed, the steering wheel position can be…

The buttons are located on the driver's door.

The exterior rear-view mirrors are spherical, which expands the field of view.

The outside rearview mirrors give a reduced image. Objects appear more distant.

  • the speed limit of 10 km/h is exceeded - immediately, regardless of the gear engaged;
  • button "1" is pressed.

The buttons are located on the driver's door.

After this, the mirror can be adjusted again to the driving or parking position.

Driver's side exterior rearview mirror with automatic glare reduction

Reducing the glare effect: Turn the electronic key in the ignition switch to position 2.

Depending on the angle of incidence of light, the driver's side exterior rearview mirror automatically switches the anti-glare function on or off.

There is a risk of accident!

The automatic glare reduction function is limited if light does not fall unobstructed on the sensors of the interior rearview mirror, for example when the rear window blind is raised or when driving with a trailer.

Note: When reverse gear is engaged or the interior light is on, the driver's side outside rearview mirror does not reduce glare.
