Removal



1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Press out the ball clutch, squeeze the plastic clip with pliers and remove the gear shift cable (98).

3. Unscrew the drain plugs (2) and (4a) on the rotation converter and gearbox and drain the transmission oil.

4. Loosen the bolts (17) securing the support plate/rotation converter.

5. Raise the gearbox.

6. Remove the rear cross member (19) of the engine.

7. Remove the exhaust system bracket (10) and bracket (11) by unscrewing the nuts (7).

8. Remove the shield (5).

9. Unscrew the front propeller shaft (71) from the gearbox.

10. Disconnect the exhaust pipe (60) from the rear support.

11. Unscrew the speedometer shaft (9) or the inductive sensor (85a).

12. Disconnect the wiring connectors from the solenoid valves (Y3/1x1).

13. Disconnect the wiring from the lambda probe and loosen the clamp.

14. Disconnect the connector (8) from the starter interlock switch.

15. Remove the retainer (32) and unhook the shift rod.

16. Disconnect the vacuum line (12).

17. Unscrew the bolts (13a), the pressure and return pipes from the radiator (13).



18. Unscrew the oil filter tube (15).

19. Unscrew the ground connection wire (27).

20. Unbolt the gearbox from the engine and remove it at an angle.

21. Remove the rotation converter.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
