1. Raise the transmission.

2. Remove the engine cross member (19). Remove the exhaust pipe bracket (10) and bracket (11) by unscrewing the nuts (7).

3. Remove the shield (5).

4. Disconnect the front propeller shaft (71) from the gearbox.

5. Disconnect the exhaust pipe (60) from the rear support.

6. Unscrew the speedometer shaft (9) or the inductive sensor (85a).

7. Press the cover (46) and remove the retaining ring (43) and sealing ring (48).

8. Turn the flange so that the centrifugal regulator (50) is set to the position shown in the illustration.

9. Insert the pliers, squeeze the retaining ring (43) and remove the regulator (50).

Installation



1. Turn the gearbox to the right and insert the adjuster (50) using the pliers (072).

2. Insert the tab (arrow) into the groove in the regulator body. Make sure the locking ring is locked in the groove. If the regulator is installed correctly, the locking ring can rotate in the groove easily.
