Camshaft adjuster
1, 3, 15, 15a, 10 - Bolts; 2, 12 - Rings; 4 - Fittings; 5, 21 - Fingers; 6 - Nut; 7 - Front cover; 8, 11 - O-rings; 9 - Adapter; 13 - Camshaft sprocket; 14 - Set piston; 16 - Regulator flange; 17 - Spring; 18 - Plunger; 19 - Retaining ring; 20 - Bushing; 22 - Camshaft
Removing
1. Set the piston of the first cylinder to TDC.
2. Remove the top cover.
3. Mark the position of the camshaft sprockets in relation to the timing chain. 4. Remove the bolt (3), holding the armature (4) (arrow). Remove reinforcement (4).
5. Unscrew the nut 6 and remove the cover with the ring (12).
6. Turn away an asterisk of a camshaft. 7. Remove the sprocket (13) and set piston (14). Turn away bolts (15) And (15a) and remove the flange (16) from the intake camshaft sprocket.
Installation
1. Install the flange (16) on the camshaft (22). Make sure that the pin 21 is correctly installed. 2. Install the piston (14) on the flange (16) to the intended position by turning it to the left. Raise the timing chain up.
3. Install the camshaft sprocket (13) on the set piston (14) to the intended position by turning it to the right; raise the timing chain before doing this.
4. Install the cap with the ring (12) and tighten the nut (6), but do not fully tighten.
5. Install the sprocket on the exhaust camshaft.
6. Install the timing chain on both sprockets according to the marks. tighten the nut (6) on the regulator.
7. Install fittings (4) on the plunger (18). tighten bolt (3). roller finger (arrow) in fittings (4) must be aligned with the flat surface on the plunger (18).
8. Install the front cover from above.
