Designation on the front of the crankshaft
1 - Company emblem; 2 - Model name; 3 - Date of verification; 4 - Control discharge of the automatic measuring system; 5 - The main neck of the crankshaft; 6 - Width of installed insert
Dimensional characteristics of the crankshaft are presented in Specifications. The designation on the front of the crankshaft is shown in resist. illustrations.
Measuring the dimensions of the crankshaft journals and installing new liners
1. Remove the crankshaft and install the crankshaft main bearing caps and tighten them to 30 Nm.
2. Measure the diameter of the bore for the main bearing and the diameter of the main journal.
3. The selection of liners is as follows:
Main bearing hole diameter (62.51 mm) - Diameter of the main neck (57.95 mm) = 4.55 mm - Radial clearance (0.04 mm) = 4.51 mm/2 = Liner thickness (2.25 mm).
Based on the results of the calculation, the top insert is selected «blue» and bottom insert «blue» (see Specifications).
4. The nominal values of the working clearances and axial play of the main bearings of the crankshaft are: 0.030-0.045 mm and 0.100-0.250 mm, respectively.
5. The working clearance in connecting rod bearings is 0.020-0.050mm.
6. The final dimensions and designation of the holes for the crankshaft main journals are given in Specifications.
