Remove the propeller shaft flange using puller 1 16 589 19 33 00.
Remove the mounting bolts and the rear cover of the gearbox.
Press the seal out of the cover using a suitable puller (rod diameter about 52 mm).
Press the new seal (b) tightly with the outer edge into the cover (c).
To facilitate installation, glue the new gasket (a) to the surface of the cover dividing with grease.
Carefully push the cover onto the secondary shaft and position it on the plane of the gearbox housing division until it stops. Pay attention to the guide bushings so that the reverse shaft with the recess is at the top and is correctly inserted into the fixing hole in the cover.
Screw in the cover mounting bolts and tighten them evenly in a crosswise pattern.
Lubricate the flange of the cardan shaft with three pins at the point of contact with the seal and slide it onto the secondary shaft.
Tighten the new locking nut first with your fingers, then tighten it completely with the special keys specified above and secure it.
