Caution! Open the radiator cap with caution when the engine is hot. Precautionary measure: When opening, place a rag on the radiator cap. The cap can be opened when the coolant temperature is less than 90°C.

When opening, first turn the lid to the first stop and let the excess pressure escape. Then turn the lid further and remove it.
When the engine is cold, the coolant should reach position (C) on the marking (A) in the radiator hose. When the engine is warm, the coolant should be in position (B).
Add cold coolant only when the engine is cold to avoid engine damage.
For topping up, even in warm weather, use only a mixture of antifreeze and clean, salt-free water.
Note: In order to be able to drive further, it is possible, especially in summer, to add clean water. It is still necessary to add antifreeze to the required concentration as soon as possible.
Visually check the tightness of the connections when the coolant level is often below the minimum marking.
