Do not install units on the engine until it is mounted on the mounting supports and the cable is free to hang.
Before installing a manual transmission, check the input shaft bearing in the crankshaft and the clutch release bearing sleeve.
Connect the cardan shaft.
Check the ignition timing, adjust the idle speed and engine tightness.

If the engine mounts are damaged, they must be replaced.
Remove oils and greases from rubber parts.
Tighten all bolts and nuts to the required tightening torque.
Adjust the rear engine mount by loosening the support mounting nut and rocking the engine until it is in a free position. Tighten the nut to 40 Nm.
Check the freezing point of the coolant and if it is within the norm, the coolant can be reused.
Check the cooling system together with the coolant pump for leaks (section 5.2.1).
Check the air filter element for contamination and install it.
Note: If necessary, replace the rubber parts of the engine suspension (removing the engine and gearbox is not required see section 3.13).
