Do not install units on the engine before installing it on the mounting supports and free sagging of the cable.
Before installing a manual transmission, check the input shaft bearing in the crankshaft and the clutch release bearing sleeve.
Attach cardan shaft.
Check ignition timing, adjust idle speed and engine tightness.
If the engine mounts are damaged, they must be replaced.
Remove oils and grease from rubber parts.
Tighten all bolts and nuts to the required torque.
Adjust the rear engine mount by loosening the support mounting nut and rocking the engine until it is in a free position. Tighten the nut to 40 Nm.
Check the freezing point of the coolant and, if correct, the coolant can be reused.
Check the cooling system together with the coolant pump for leaks (section 5.2.1).
Check the air filter element for dirt and install it.
Note: If necessary, replace the rubber parts of the engine mount (removal of the engine and gearbox is not required see section 3.13).
