Always put the valve rocker arms back in their correct positions.
When installing new rocker arms, it is necessary to carefully check the camshaft and, if necessary, replace it.
Using a screwdriver, remove the rocker arm spring, while turning the camshaft to a position in which the rocker arm will be unloaded.
The camshaft drive can only be rotated by the crankshaft. Press on the valve spring plate and remove the rocker arm. The rocker arm is installed in the reverse order. Before installation, lubricate the working surfaces of the rocker arm with engine oil. Check and adjust the valve clearance as described below.
