Improved driving dynamics (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W210)

Numerous innovations and modifications have created the preconditions for improving the vehicle's driving dynamics. The most important of these include lengthening the wheelbase and increasing the vehicle's track. Both measures have a positive effect on directional stability when driving straight ahead, when exposed to crosswinds and lateral roll. Compared to the previous model, the Mercedes E-Class has the following exterior dimensions changed:



1. The wheelbase has been extended by 33 mm to a total length of 2833 mm (see fig. 1.8).

2. The front track has been increased by 34 mm to a total distance of 1542 mm.

3. The rear track has been increased by 54 mm to a total distance of 1536 mm.
