Sequence of works
1. Remove the trim around the gear shift lever.
2. Remove the ashtray.

3. Open the drawer under the armrest and unscrew the mounting screws at its bottom (fig. 10.34)If necessary, remove the mat previously inserted into the drawer (for example, you can lift it with a vacuum cleaner) to access the screws.
4. Remove the two bolts at the rear of the gear shift lever.
5. Lift the center console forward until it disengages from the dashboard.
6. During subsequent assembly, before fastening, position the console so that it fits as tightly as possible to the surfaces to be joined.
