Visually inspect all accessible electrical connectors, wire harnesses, and wire harness retaining clips.

If a particular exterior light bulb does not light, the bulb may be burned out and needs to be replaced. If both brake light bulbs do not light, the brake light switch may be faulty.

If several bulbs do not light at the same time, there may be damage to the electrical circuit supplying the bulbs or a blown fuse. Fuses are located in the fuse box at the rear of the engine compartment.

To replace a fuse, pull the fuse straight out of its socket and install a new fuse of the same amperage. If the fuse blows again, find out and fix the cause of the blown fuse.
