Caution! Use only MB tested and approved fuses for the required current strength!
Do not repair blown fuses or install jumpers - determine the cause of the blown fuse.
1. Most of the electrical consumers in your vehicle are protected by fuses. Individual components of the lighting system, with the exception of the brake lights, are protected by electronic components.
2. If too much current flows, the electrical circuit of the electronically protected components is electronically interrupted. After a short time, the electrical circuit is automatically closed again; if the fault occurs again, the electrical circuit is interrupted again.
3. Use only fuses with the specified amperage that have been tested and approved by us.
4. Do not repair or bypass blown fuses - determine the cause of the blown fuse.
5. Fuse overviews, spare fuses and fuse removal tools together with the on-board tool kit are located in an additional compartment under the luggage compartment floor (see Chapter User manual).
6. To gain access to the main fuse box fuses, lift the handle (1) in the direction of the arrow and remove the cover.

7. Additional fuse box (fuses for locking and anti-theft alarm systems) is located in the luggage compartment under the right cover.
8. Turn the handle (2) and open the cover of the additional mounting block.

9. A fuse removal tool is included in the on-board tool kit.
10. The diagram of the location of fuses in the mounting blocks is given in Specifications. The most accurate information is applied to the inside of the mounting block cover.
