Removal



1. Remove the top engine covers, refer to the relevant section.

2. Disconnect the air cleaner housing from the cylinder head cover.

3. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose.

4. Disconnect the camshaft Hall sensor plug.

5. Disconnect the plug from the electrically controlled shut-off valve.

6. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the cable channel from the cylinder head cover and move it to the side.

7. Remove the injectors, refer to Section Removal and installation injectors.

8. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the cylinder head cover.

Installation



1. Install the cylinder head cover with a new sealing gasket, without securing it.

Note: The mounting screws are tightened only after the injectors have been installed.


2. Install the injectors, refer to Section Removal and installation injectors.

3. Secure the cable channel to the cylinder head cover.

Caution! To install the cable channel, it is necessary to remove the fuel injection lines again.


4. Connect the connectors of the shut-off valve and the Hall sensor on the camshaft.

5. Connect the crankcase ventilation hose.

6. Install the air filter housing.

7. Install the engine top covers, refer to the relevant section.
