Removal



1. Set the outside mirror to the inward position.

2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. You must first remove the cabin air filter box. Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio's security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.

3. Remove the mirror cover, refer to the relevant section.

4. Disconnect the mirror heating cable (1).


4. Disconnect the mirror heating cable (1).

5. Disconnect the retaining spring (2).

6. Use a screwdriver to move the tabs (3) at the top right and left to the side.

7. Remove the mirror glass from the lower guides and remove it from the mirror adjustment mechanism.

Installation



1. Insert the glass into the lower guides of the mirror adjustment mechanism and fix it at the top with the tabs.

2. Install the retaining spring.

3. Connect the mirror heating cable.

4. Reinstall the mirror trim, refer to the relevant section.

5. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the clock.

6. Check the operation of the mirror adjustment mechanism.
