Removal



1. Install the outside mirror inward.

2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. You must first remove the cabin air filter box. Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio's security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.

3. Press the mirror inwards. To fix the mirror in this position, insert a wooden block (1)…


3. Press the mirror inwards. To fix the mirror in this position, insert a wooden block (1) approximately 10 cm long and clamp it. (2) – outer mirror trim.

Note: On models with a power mirror, fold the mirror inward.


4. Using a screwdriver (1), release the locking spring (2), while pulling the mirror trim slightly…


4. Using a screwdriver (1), release the locking spring (2), while pulling the mirror trim slightly outward and releasing it. Make sure that the wooden block is not squeezed out.



Note: Illustration shows mirror with trim removed.


5. Remove the wooden block and fold the mirror forward. Completely separate the trim from the mirror holder (3). At the same time, it is necessary to disconnect the connector (4) of the turn signal.

Installation



1. Insert the trim over the mirror holder and fix it.

2. Press the mirror forward and backward and check that the trim is installed correctly.

3. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the clock.

4. Check the operation of the direction indicator.
