Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.
Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver's security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Lower the window completely and open the door.
3. Using a plastic wedge, separate the door entry strip from the clamp holder and remove.
4. Remove the lower trim on the A-pillar.
5. Remove the cover from the trim at the bottom of the A-pillar in the footwell area and unscrew the bolt underneath it.
6. Using a plastic wedge, pry the trim at the bottom of the A-pillar out of the clip holders and remove. The electrical wires for the door are located underneath.
7. Disconnect the electrical wire connectors.

8. Using a plastic wedge, remove the cable cover (1) from pillar A and pull out the wires.
9. Remove the door stopper mounting bolts (2).
10. Ask an assistant to hold the door. Unscrew the nuts (3) securing the hinge at the bottom and top. Remove the door and place it on a soft pad.
Installation
1. With the help of an assistant, install the door in place and screw on the hinge mounting nuts without tightening them.
2. Close the door and check the gap. If necessary, adjust the door, refer to the relevant section.
3. Tighten the hinge mounting nuts to a torque of 8 Nm.
4. Tighten the door stopper to a torque of 10 Nm.

5. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
6. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the clock.
