Examination
1. Check the door gaps with the body elements. They should be uniform along the entire contact contour. The door should lie in the same plane as the wing or be no deeper than 1 mm.
2. Check the rear door gap. The door should match the contour of the rear wing and the lower part of the side panel or be no deeper than 1 mm.
Adjustment
1. Lower the window completely and open the door.
2. Unscrew the mounting bolts (1) and remove the retainer.
3. Slightly unscrew the mounting bolts (1) of the door hinges at the bottom and top.
4. Close the door and adjust the gap by moving the hinges.
5. Tighten the hinge bolts to a torque of 32 Nm.
6. Secure the clamp without tightening it.
7. Close the door and adjust the position of the latch by moving it.
8. Tighten the retainer bolts to a torque of 28 Nm.
