Worn valve guides will not provide centering of the valve seat and will result in increased oil consumption. If the wear is too severe, replace the valve guides (work for a repair shop).
1. Remove the valve.
2. Clean the valve guide (1/2) with a cylindrical brush (diameter about 20 mm).

3. Insert the valve from the combustion chamber side into the guide and check the clearance by moving the valve back and forth from side to side. There should be no noticeable clearance. (1 - guide for the exhaust valve, 2 - guide for the inlet valve, a - snap ring.)
4. Replace valve guides if necessary (work for a repair shop).
