Glass cleaning container (heated coolant)
1. Remove the lower engine compartment cover.

2. Attach the hose to the radiator drain nipple. The picture shows a 2.0L engine.

3. Attach a 12mm ID hose to the radiator drain nipple. The picture shows a 2.5L engine.
4. Place a clean collecting container under the radiator, insert the hose into it and open the drain plug.
Drain

1. 2.0L engine: Place a clean container under the engine and remove the drain plug (12) on the engine cylinder block.

2. 2.2/2.5L engines: Fit a 14mm ID hose to the drain plug (4) on the engine block (arrow).
3. Place a clean collecting vessel under the engine, insert the hose into it and only loosen the threaded plug (4) of the drain hole without unscrewing it.
4. Drain the coolant completely.
5. Tighten the drain plug on the engine block to 30 Nm.
6. Tighten the radiator drain plug to a torque of 1.5–2.0 N·m (by hand).
7. If installed, remove the drain hose.
8. Install the lower engine compartment cover.
Bay
1. Check the antifreeze content in the coolant.

2. Fill the coolant through the filler neck of the expansion tank (2) up to the mark (arrow). For vehicles with a black upper part of the tank, up to the beginning of the black part.

Attention! To ensure that the coolant quickly gets from the expansion tank to the radiator, and, accordingly, to the engine, you can squeeze the filler hose down to fill it with coolant.
3. Connect the ground wire to the battery.
4. Allow the engine to warm up until the coolant temperature regulator opens (temperature approximately 100°C). At the same time, set the heating to full power and press the accelerator pedal in jerks.
Caution! When the coolant temperature is 60–70°C, close the expansion tank.
5. Check the tightness of the cooling system - hose connections, as well as threaded drain plugs.
6. Set the time on the clock.
7. Enter the radio anti-theft code.
