Sensor resistance (only for TSZ system) — 500-700 Ohm

Ignition timing: *

Models with EZL ignition and Pierburg 2E - 2 carburetor:
  • At idle speed - 11 to 15° before TDC
  • At 3200 rpm, with vacuum, trim plug in position "S" - 38 to 42° before TDC
  • At 3200 rpm, vacuum, trim plug in position "N" - 38 to 42° before TDC
  • At 3200 rpm, without vacuum, trim plug in position "S" - 22 to 26° before TDC
  • At 3200 rpm, without vacuum, with the trim plug in position "N" - 15 to 19° before TDC

Models with EZL ignition and fuel injection:
  • At idle speed - 8 to 12° before TDC
  • At 3200 rpm, with vacuum, trim plug in position "S" - 35 to 39° before TDC
  • At 3200 rpm, with vacuum, trim plug in position "N" - 35 to 39° before TDC
  • At 3200 rpm, without vacuum, with trim plug in position "S" - 23 to 27° before TDC
  • At 3200 rpm, without vacuum, with the trim plug in position "N" - 17 to 21° before TDC

Models with TSZ ignition and fuel injection:

  • At idle speed, using leaded gasoline, with a vacuum of 12 to 18° before TDC
  • At idle speed, using unleaded gasoline, with a vacuum of 7 to 13° before TDC
  • Full advance at 4500 rpm, without vacuum, on leaded petrol 32° BTDC 7° BTDC
  • Vacuum advance at 4500 rpm - 8 to 12° BTDC
  • Full advance at 4500 rpm, no vacuum, unleaded petrol 2 - 27° BTDC
  • Vacuum advance at 4500 rpm - 8 to 12° BTDC

Models with TSZ ignition and Stromberg type carburetor:
  • At idle speed, using leaded gasoline, with a vacuum of 10 to 16° before TDC
  • Full advance at 4500 rpm, with vacuum - 40 to 44° BTDC
  • Vacuum advance at 4500 rpm - 8 to 12° BTDC

Note: The values given are typical – for certain markets, models may have different ignition timing.
