Removal



1. Remove the bracket (262) and torsion spring (216)

2. Unscrew the bolt (259) with the gasket (258) and remove the oil pump bracket.

3. Remove the drive chain from the oil pump sprocket (263).

4. Remove the timing chain tensioner.

5. Mark the relative positions of the timing chain and crankshaft sprocket.

6. Mark the relative positions of the timing chain and camshaft sprocket.

7. Loosen the bolt and remove the camshaft sprocket.



8. Remove the crankshaft sprocket using a puller.

9. Check the condition of the crankshaft retainer and replace it if necessary.

Installation



1. Transfer the mark from the old sprocket to the new one.

2. Press the new sprocket onto the crankshaft using the installation tool.

3. Install the camshaft sprocket and timing chain according to the marks.

4. Install the chain tensioner and replace the sealing ring.

5. Check the adjustment of the TDC marks.

6. Install the chain together with the oil pump sprocket. Install the sprocket so that the convex side of the sprocket faces forward.
