Oil filter housing installation details
1 - Exhaust gas recirculation pipe; 2 - Tube to the oil pressure sensor (engines 601.911); 9 - Seals; 270 - Gasket; 271 - Cover fastening nut; 273 - Oil pump cover; 275 - Oil pump housing; 280 - Filter element; 296 - Oil pressure sensor


1. Remove the air cleaner.

2. Unscrew the bolt (276) securing the oil filter cover.

3. Remove the filter element (280).

4. Disconnect the pipe (1) between the EGR valve and the intake manifold or turbocharger from the oil filter housing.

5. Unscrew the delivery pipe (2).

6. Disconnect the wiring connector from the oil pressure sensor (296).

7. Remove the bolt (291) from the oil filter flange.

8. Remove the oil filter housing (275) from the cylinder block together with the gasket (270).

9. Wipe the sealing surfaces and replace the gasket (270).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace the seals (9).
