Removal and installation of the clutch housing
New or replacement gearboxes are usually supplied without a clutch housing.
Remove the clutch release from the guide tube of the transmission front cover.
Remove the clutch release fork from the ball joint (see description in section 8.4).
Loosen the nuts securing the flywheel housing evenly.
With light hammer blows on the crankcase, remove the crankcase from its seats and, together with the working cylinder and pipeline, remove it from the mounting studs (see fig. 170). Installation is carried out in reverse order. Place the clutch housing with a few blows of a rubber-faced hammer on the shoulder on the gearbox. Cover the inner surface of the fastening nuts with sealant.
