1. Remove the air filter.
2. Turn on the ignition. As soon as the intake air temperature exceeds approximately 14°C, the switch should close and both its contacts should be energized.
3. At temperatures below 14°C, only the terminal of the white wire with the green stripe should be energized.
4. To replace the switch, remove the mounting clamps and pull the switch out.
