Rear wheel suspension
1 - Rear wheel drive; 2 - Main gear; 3 - Helical spring; 4 - shock absorber; 5 - Rear suspension beam; 6 - Torsion stabilizer bar; 7 - Rear suspension arm
The suspension of the rear wheels is made in the form of a spatial multi-link system and consists of a beam to which the suspension arms are bolted through rubber-metal bearings. There is an anti-roll bar in front of the beam (except model C180), which reduces the tilt of the body when turning, as well as preventing the rise of the inner wheel relative to the rotation of the rear wheel.
The body is cushioned by two helical springs. Gas-filled shock absorbers are located next to the springs. This design takes up little space in the trunk or cargo compartment.
