Removing
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the bottom cover of the engine compartment.
3. Spray all bolts and nuts of the exhaust system with an anti-corrosion agent and wait for the agent to take effect.
4. Unscrew the bottom front exhaust pipe on the exhaust manifold (158/1). (158) - catalyst.
5. Support the exhaust system with wooden stands.
6. Unscrew the nuts (10/2), (8/2) on threaded plate (10/1), (8/1). Remove this plate.
7. Unhook the rubber feet (7/1), (9/1) self made keys.
8. Release the exhaust system and remove it.
Installation
1. Before assembling the exhaust system, check that the flange to the exhaust manifold is not bent, if necessary, align it.
2. Check the rubber bearings for porosity and damage.
3. Fasten the new exhaust system, slightly tighten the connecting flange.
4. If the old parts of the exhaust system are installed again, clean the joints with an emery cloth from residual combustion products and corrosion.
Attention! So that the nuts and bolts of the exhaust system can be easily unscrewed later, it is recommended to coat them with high-temperature paste, for example, "Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC".
5. Hang the exhaust system in the rubber supports.
6. Orient the system by pivoting and shifting in the longitudinal direction so that there is sufficient clearance throughout with respect to the structure and that the rubber feet are evenly loaded.
7. Screw on the threaded plate with a torque of 20 Nm (indicative value).
8. Tighten firmly to 20 Nm the bolts on the connecting flange and the bolts to the front exhaust pipe on the manifold.
9. Start the engine and check the exhaust system for leaks.
