The exhaust system consists of a front exhaust pipe with a catalytic converter, a middle muffler and a main muffler.
The front exhaust manifold is bolted to the exhaust manifold, which is flanged to the cylinder head. All parts are screwed together and can be replaced individually. Self-locking nuts and seals should be used after disassembly. Check the retaining rings and rubber stops for porosity and damage, replace if necessary.
When assembling a new exhaust system, it is recommended to replace all attachments as well.
