- Park the car on a level surface.
- Turn the steering wheel to the straight-ahead position.
- The engine must be turned off.
Tip: To ensure proper testing, do not turn the steering wheel after the engine has stopped.

If you have to add fluid frequently, this indicates a leak that needs to be identified and fixed immediately.
1. The reservoir is an integral part of the power steering pump. Wipe the reservoir, then unscrew the fastening nut and remove the reservoir cap.
2. The fluid level should be between the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) marks on the plastic tube, which is installed on the stud of the tank cap.
3. Add the manufacturer's recommended fluid up to the "MAX" mark. Do not let dirt get into the tank and do not overfill. Close the lid securely.
