Windscreen washer fluid level (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W201)

Windscreen washer fluid contains additives that not only help clean the glass well in bad weather, but also prevent the liquid from freezing in cold weather - exactly when glass cleaning is most often required. Do not add clean water to the tank, because the liquid will freeze on the cold. Never change the antifreeze for this purpose if you do not want to spoil the paintwork of the car.

1. The windshield and headlight washer reservoir is located in the front right corner of the engine compartment. The level is visible through the reservoir body. If it is necessary to top up the fluid, open the cap and add water and detergent additive in the quantities recommended by the manufacturer.
